American/Canadian ex-pats edit

it would be interesting to know how many of the german, south korean, etc. players were american/canadian kids living abroad, with military or diplomatic parents for example.americans working abroad used to play on foreign teams in the senior world championships. don't know if that still goes on.Toyokuni3 (talk) 15:44, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Toyokuni, international representation is much better than in the past. Australia fielded team that doesn't even have an NCAA player on it! The German & Finnish teams were almost totally native players from those countries. Though, Scotland had some Canadians with Scottish passports, and Bermuda was nearly all ex-pats. Dead links edit

It seems like all the references to 2008WorldLax.com and InsideLacrosse.com (which make up almost all of the references on this page) are now dead. Of the 27 references given, I can only find 2 which still work (Buffalo reporter and nllinsider). It doesn't seem like cached copies are available either. Should the references all be marked with (deadlink), or removed, or what would be best? Thrapper (talk) 11:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dead link edit

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!
