I'm confused about the requirement for the recall to succeed. This link - [1] says that to succeed the yes to recall votes have to be more than 53.74% and more than 1,544,374 (the figures for the previous election) whereas the article at the moment refers only to the percentage. BBC and the loser governors

BBC news website [2] says that two of the defeated governors are pro-Morales, as this Wikipedia article says that two of them were oppositionists. It seems clear that Cochabamba's, La Paz's and Oruro's governors lost and that Oruro's governor is socialist and that Cochabamba's is autonomist but how is it with the governor of La Paz? --80.223.146.227 (talk) 15:20, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

La Paz governor is PODEMOS (opposition) according to this: [3]. Final results show only losses are La Paz and Cochabamba (both opposition) BBC ref was only draft results. AndrewRT(Talk) 22:54, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
