Seeing as Mike Fisher is injured, are we certain Heatly is a designate A for the reg season? Or is he filling in, for Fisher. GoodDay (talk) 22:56, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is there anyway to reduce the amount of stats reported since its chnaging almost everyday, and very difficult to maintain? Ottawa4ever (talk) 18:57, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

The games and roster require manual editing. The standings come from elsewhere and seem to be up to date daily or nearly so. You're not alone in working on the page. I work on it, though not after every game. With the poor season, I guess others aren't getting to the updates like they used to. The page does not have to be kept up to the minute. The only things are games and roster changes that get regularly updated. There is occasionally some news, too. Alaney2k (talk) 22:24, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Just a request for those willing to update, please make sure you have your facts straight because I noticed some people, not just on here, but on other team pages as well, putting in the wrong scores, records, etc. (eg. The game on January 4th between Ottawa and New Jersey, the final score was 4-3, however, somebody put in 5-4).

I've removed the modern tag from this article, as it's un-needed (and not used on the other Senators seasonal articles). The fact that this is the franchises 16th season, shows it's not the same franchise as the one which folded in 1935 (as the St. Louis Eagles). GoodDay (talk) 15:53, 12 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
