Confusing Stats

Whoever put all the stats and results after the top scorers table has made it very confusing. The layout that was done before that was much easier to read and had more off the stuff people want to know.Chelseafcthebest (talk) 02:18, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Starting formations

4-3-3 was not the STARTING formation used in the first Premier League game against Portsmouth. I'm guessing that the official Chelsea website is reasonably authoritative on this issue; therefore, this article (http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~1368614,00.html) should be sufficient. I have seen absolutely no media after the game stating that Chelsea started the game in 4-3-3. It is true that in the second half, 4-3-3 was used after Michael Ballack's injury, but it has not yet been used as a starting formation, or at least recognised as such, in a competitive fixture this season. Fixtures

I've been posting the next Premier League match under the last match the whole season. I noticed someone removed the latest one and said that such information is copyrighted. Can I still do the same for CL, Carling Cup and FA Cup or are they copyrighted material also? Thank you.

Substitute appearances

The 'Appearances and goals' table is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain as the number of games accumulates, as it is difficult to tell who has started a game and who came off the bench. This also affects the Starting 11 section.

Is there a way of listing it so that we may see in the Appearances and goals table separate starting and substitute appearances for each player? For example e.g. Frank Lampard's Premier League appearances are currently 8+0 (8 starts, none from the bench). Changing the matches layout

I noticed a user changed the matches sections to an alternating grey and white every other match. I reverted to the regular format and I created a discussion on the topic. I like the old white with line dividers, but I see other users want to change to grey and white. If you like one style over the other please voice your opinion here and we will make the changes or keep it the same according to the votes. Place your screen name under which style you like better.
