Rest Days

edit

I hate them.... :( Thethinredline 09:21, 17 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, lazy bastards. Why can't they race 6000 km through the mountains without "rest".  ;-) But today maybe we can add a bit of meat to the articles... --Per Abrahamsen 12:04, 17 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
I dunno, i was really getting into it and rest days are always a buzzkill. But on the other hand, if there had been a mountain stage today; Basso and Cunego would've totally broken the rest of the competition and the rest of the Giro would've been ruined. Anyway, time trial on Thursday, so that'll heal some of the wounds. Thethinredline 15:40, 17 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stage 21 Time Trial

edit

Originally there was a time trial scheduled for the morning, before the normal stage into Milan. I believe this caused a lot of controversy, as the riders didn't want two stages in a single day. Does anyone know what happened with this? It seems the riders won? Jaegen 21:25, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
