"DeStefano's police department recently denied their tactics had permitted a spike in violent crime in the city, despite local public perception." - Can someone explain what this is trying to say? There are several similarly nonsensical sentences throughout this article that contain POV issues. Qqqqqq06:23, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
It was posted in the context of DeStefano attacking Rell's position on fightng crime as somehow racist. New Haven residents of color don;t think DeStefano's approach is accomplishing anything at all.

Ok, someone working for DeStefano obviously took his campaign flyer and put it on this Wiki page. While I support DeStefano, this inclusion is irritating, doesn't meet WIki standards, and destroys the neutrality of the page. I'm going to delete it and reference the links where people can find info on DeStefano's policies.Porvida13:41, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
