removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:

1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Some garbled language under "Birth of Indymedia"

Namely the paragraph the sentence "Other than the dislike from the police that regular citizens had now the capabilities to broadcast media content as easily as mainstream corporate media but in a free-speech, independent fashion, the LAPD had no choice but to release the building to the tenants."

I don't know what the writer is trying to say here, but it is very unclear. The second half makes some sense about free speech, but otherwise it is very garbled. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkvannort (talk • contribs) 23:07, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

"D2K" branding?

No primary sources allowed, but I remember all of the events and activities and venues were organized under the umbrella of "D2K" - this being, of course, a play on the Y2K issue, but referring to the Democratic National Convention, 2000. Every flyer and program of events and list of resources and email thread and whatever was on the Internet (such as it was back then) was tagged "D2K" for easy search purposes. And yet, when I search for that now, I find everything but that. And yet, I remember it. Somebody help? Davecampbell (talk) 17:00, 14 May 2020 (UTC)

How can we fix this phrase under section “ Birth of the Independent Media Center”

The usage of the phrase “teenage nerds” stuck out to me as an immature, and quite frankly, unnecessary “detail” UsersLikeYou (talk) 00:54, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
