Service in Greece edit

Apparently Greece in World War One deserves it own article as it seems to have been really complicated... I guess it switched sides mid-war? Somehow, though, the 1er Spahis captured the standard of the 1st regiment of Evozones (Greek light infantry) V. Joe (talk) 18:28, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Regiment/Battalions of March edit

These are temporary expansions of regiments/ or the blending of regiments for war-time purposes. These are similar to the Anglo-American practice of brigading regiments and battalions to form combat divisions. The most famous in French history were probably the Demi-Brigades organized during the French Revolutionary wars and later under Napoleon. V. Joe (talk) 18:42, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
