The USA victory was, however, debatable because the U.S. goalie Briana Scurry allegedly stepped beyond the goal line numerous times before the Chinese players actually kicked the ball.

Venezuela flag

This is an extremely minor issue I realize, but the use of the 8-star Venezuela flag in the "Match officials" section is anachronistic. That flag was only introduced in 2006 after Chavez had been in power for a few years. It should instead be File:Flag of Venezuela 1930-2006.svg, as detailed on Template:Country data Venezuela. -LtNOWIS (talk) 16:04, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
