  • You should be clearer about TD 11's impacts. Don't say unknown, just say that it contributed to floods that killed 636 people. That's deadlier than any other storm, and could get some more clarity.
  • Irene's $800 million damage total is the 2nd highest of any storm in the season, so it's probably worth mentioning in the lead.
  • When talking about averages, do you think it's worth saying what the average was at the time, or the current average? (which, isn't there something more recent than 2010?) At the time, there were only 10 storms on average, making 1999 above normal. It's optional, and if you don't have a good way to include it, don't worry. Still, there could be something useful in that November summary.
  • Well, I'm using the 1981-2010 average. It's not near the beginning or end of the range.
  • "After developing on June 11, the depression almost immediately began to drift" - which direction
  • "The depression strengthened and was upgraded to Tropical Storm Arlene at 12:00 UTC on June 12." - based on? Ditto the peak intensity. It's the first storm of the season, so feel free to go a little wonky on it, such as including satellite-derived winds, ship reports, buoys, etc.
  • Any Arlene effects on Bermuda?
  • Any impacts for TD 2?
  • Couldn't find anything other than rainfall totals--12george1 (talk) 00:09, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • I think you should also add that Bret didn't cause much damage due to its small size
  • "Dennis brought 6–8 ft (1.8–2.4 m) waves to the east coast of Florida, causing only minor erosion. However, four drowning deaths occurred." - were these in Florida?
  • "A tornado in Hampton caused severe damage at five apartments complexes and an assisted living facility. Three of the five apartment complexes were condemned, while the other two were partially condemned. About 460 people were forced evacuated from the buildings. As many as 800 vehicles may have been damaged." - was all of this from the tornado? I think it could be condensed if so.
  • I think you should mention that Emily wasn't known to be a TC until recon discovered it was a tropical storm. Use the advisories for the first discussion - that's a pretty important aspect of Emily that isn't mentioned.
  • "remaining offshore Florida." - you should say how close it got to eastern Florida
  • "Floyd made landfall near Cape Fear, North Carolina, with winds of 105 mph (170 km/h). Thereafter, the storm rapidly weakened and was a tropical storm by early on the following day. Shortly thereafter, Floyd transitioned into an extratropical cyclone while interacting with a frontal zone over Maine on September 17." - totally glossed over Floyd moving over the entire eastern United States.
  • You were just hoping for another mention of New Jersey, weren't you? :P --12george1 (talk) 00:09, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Damage estimate for Floyd in Bahamas? (I couldn't find it, but maybe you could have luck)
  • I spent awhile looking back when I started the Effects of Floyd in Florida sandbox, but didn't find anything.--12george1 (talk) 00:09, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • How did Harvey end up in Canada?
  • You need much more info from TD 11. Don't emphasize the uncertainty in the impacts - that doesn't help the reader. Instead, give a summary on what happened, say the TD contributed to the floods, and source it. This needs the most work in the article
  • "Half a day later" - I lost track of what day this was. Make sure you use the actual dates in Irene's section a few more times
  • "Hurricane forces winds were also reported in Havana.[86] Four fatalities reported." - grammar?
  • Why did Lenny take the unusual eastward track?
  • Perhaps change the infobox image, as it doesn't show the eye that well
  • Check the "Season effects" table. There is a "ref" table that isn't being used, and it doesn't look good.

All in all, a decent article. It shouldn't be too difficult to take care of these points, at which point I'll be happy to pass the article. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:37, 3 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
