I admittedly do not know much about merging, but I respectfully object to this process based on the amount of effort I put into creating my page. The other proposed page to be merged with has a small fraction of the information compared to mine. Moreover, the other page would provide little substance to mine. Again, I am not sure if the merger would greatly alter the work I have done - but this is my main concern.

There is already the 1997 Sugar Bowl page. It is redundant. A merge would take much of this information and shift it (or what can be sourced) over to the already existing page. Also there isn't any infobox that links to the page. The corporate sponsor in bowl games are typically listed here when it is the actual name of the bowl game 2013 Chick-fil-A Bowl vs 2015 Peach Bowl. There isn't a game infobox. The schedule tables, team infoboxes, and, standings tables are copied from team pages, and 1996 NCAA Division I-A football rankings where they are for, NOT for these pages, per WP:Consensus at WP:College football. Also, the text and prose which may have some merit, are completely missing inline citations.UCO2009bluejay (talk) 02:14, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

Yes. It's obvious you put a lot of work into this article but that has nothing to do with the fact that an article on this topic already exists. You're free to copy and paste what you have here into that article though, and we can go from there. Lizard (talk) 02:31, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
