"Wycombe Wanderers had gained promotion from non-League football when they finished the 1992–93 Football Conference as champions and as such were making their first appearance in the play-offs in their first season in the Football League.[8]" + "No further goals were scored and Wycombe were promoted to the Second Division at their first attempt.[7][12][13]" The Rambling Man (Stay alert! @The Rambling Man: I meant that a source should be added to the hook itself, per the rule/scriteria at the DYK checklist. A simple [1] will do. Ping me when you reply or have done so. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 13:29, 7 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Where do you propose adding that citation? The fact albeit spread across two sentences is fully cited and we don't need to artificially create cited text to satisfy DYK. WP:V is satisfied, right? The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 13:57, 7 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Guess you're right as the criteria says to simply check if the hook has a source. With that being said, there are no other issues, so this hook is good to go.   Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 15:23, 7 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

That doesn't clarify things. Looking at the source does. I've amended the text accordingly. --Usernameunique (talk) 04:23, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • #2, 3, 4, 5 — Only 4 & 5 have archived links. But do the links actually do anything for you? They just take me to a page saying I need to register.
I use the archive tool on the talkpage which (I guess) is accredited by WMF. I don't do anything more than that, if it's malfunctioning then I guess a ticket should be raised but I think that's outside the scope of the GAN. I'll happily remove archived links, but it's not unreasonable to ask for registration I guess. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 21:33, 13 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Overall

Usernameunique all addressed and/or responded to. It's quite common in the earlier contemporary reports that finer details like goal times were not reported in post-match reports, by the way. Cheers. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 21:54, 13 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
The Rambling Man, passing now. Two comments (including one possible suggestion) above. Makes sense re: details not showing up in post-match reports; I just figure that I'll ask, and if there's nothing to add then there's nothing to add.
