  • Why do you mention so much on Emily in the lead? This is not the EPAC, landfalls are not that important. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:00, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • It has nothing to do with landfall. I mentioned Emily because it was the strongest storm of the season. Also, I wrote more for more devastating Hurricane Gert.--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "Tropical Depression One and Hurricane Emily also caused land impacts. However, the storm collectively caused 339 deaths and $302.7 million in damage.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][7][17][18][19][20]" why so many refs? YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Because all of those sources have to be used to come up with the total number of deaths and amount of damage.--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Also, shouldn't the timeline graph be in the SS not the storms. I hate blank sections. YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Technically, the section isn't blank, but I will move the graph anyway.--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • You said this is optional, so I don't have to do it.--12george1 (talk) 04:09, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "In El Salvador, rainfall from the precursor tropical wave caused mudslides throughout the country, which in turn resulted in 20 fatalities. Immense amounts of precipitation in Mexico caused flooding in the states of Veracruz, Campeche, Yucatán, San Luis Potosí, Quintana Roo, Nuevo León, and Jalisco. 5 deaths and $33 million in damage was reported in Mexico.[16][30] " IIRC IDD says $1 bil combined with Arlene. I also recall Hink telling me something about the Dartmouth flood observatory here related to this damage, so you might wanna check that. YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Nope, I checked the Dartmouth archive and there was nothing about $1 billion in damage. Now Tropical Storm Beatriz apparently caused $1.7 billion, which may have been in combination with Arlene. However, I don't know how reliable the source is and cannot find anything else to back it up.--12george1 (talk) 04:09, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "10 fatalities were reported in Nicaragua, 9 of which were drowning victims after a Spanish vessel sank. Overall, Tropical Storm Bret caused 184 deaths and about $25 million in damage.[7]" don't start a sentence with a number. YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • In Cindy's section, I'd put the 2.75 inches in 6 min total as well as mention the 15.55 occrued in only six hours (Which is actually 15.6 per the featured storm article). YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "1,000 mbar " why the comma? There is no comma in the infobox, right. YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • The convert template adds the comma. Remove the template?--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Makes sense to me. Read the whole sentence: "Late on August 26, Emily briefly became a hurricane, though it weakened back early on the following day." You can see that the "following day" was August 27.--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "While passing southeast of Newfoundland, the storm produced very light rainfall in some areas.[53]" how light? 0.01 inch? YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • "moved north-northwest at 6 to 11 mph (9.7 to 18 km/h)" why the wind speed? YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • There isn't the wind speed. It is the forward speed.--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • " Impact from the depression in Bermuda was nil." why do you mention it then? I could say Ten had no affect on sports teams, but what would did say? YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Maybe that's why the Miami Dolphins suck, lol; fixed--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Why are landfalls bolded in the SE chart? The ATL has too many landfalls for it worth mentioning. YE Pacific Hurricane 02:25, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I though that was the standard for the new impact tables.--12george1 (talk) 19:40, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
No consensus was made on that discussion. Therefore, I can keep the table as is.--12george1 (talk) 05:47, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
