Hi Thegreatdr - I will be reviewing 1986 PTS for GA on an intial readthrough i found a couple of things which i will be pointing out below to you. Jason Rees (talk) 16:01, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Im Placing this article On Hold for now as there are a couple of issues with the article which i have outlined below - I will also be giving this article a Very Throughy Copyedit later once all the corrections have been done.Jason Rees (talk) 17:20, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Too do

1. "Vera was considered two tropical cyclones by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center after the fact, though it was operationally treated as one by all three warning agencies," - Strange wording esspecially as there are more than three warning agencies within the WPAC.
2. Since Vera was considered one system by the JMA, im not sure its worthy of two seperate sections
3. The Infobox for the 2nd JMA Tropical Storm needs the SSHS removing.
4. Their are numerous problems with the Storm infoboxs in this article

• For the HKO Depressions add "|WarningCenter=HKO" and change the winds from 1-min to 10-min
• For the JMA Depressions/ Tropical Storms removed the 1 min winds=

Track maps needed

Three of the tropical depressions from the 1986 Pacific typhoon season, whose track maps are within this document, need maps. Thanks for whatever help you all are able to provide. Thegreatdr (talk) 16:52, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't have a lot of time to do these, but 95 percent of the work is formatting the data into HURDAT format. If anyone wants other track maps, format them and put them where someone with a working copy of the program can copy the data. Keep in mind that the template at Commons doesn't have any options for tracks generated from other warning center data. The track map program also doesn't include that pink color or the light aquamarine color because it only works with 1-minute data. Also, track maps from other warning centers can look quite jerky because they don't all smooth them out like NHC or JTWC. Potapych (talk) 21:57, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
