Whats with all this 'makes contact to...' guff? Does this mean their manager phoned the label, sent them a demo or what? In the case of Sex Pistols 'making contact to warner brothers' it certainly wasn't significant to their career. Or indeed the Clash, who actually got a contract with CBS in 1977. can't speak for the other groups mentioned but certainly smells like BS from here.... quercus robur 00:17 Mar 9, 2003 (UTC)

What is this based on exactly? - is this based on worldwide sales? Or is it just random chart positions? Brotherhood Of Man's "Save Your Kisses For Me" was reported to have reached number one in over 20 countries (reports range from 27 to 33)Tuzapicabit (talk) 17:57, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
