I am watching a National Geopgraphic and it says 175 people survived the crash. This article says 173. Hm? 81.68.255.36 (talk) 17:36, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Concur - found a USAF reference that says 175, so have changed it. Socrates2008 (Talk) 09:34, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
all the various wiki articles cite different figures for those on board and those killed, the main C-5 article did not include the correct number of USAF medical crew and the figures cited did not even add up. Does not seem to be any definitive source on these figures but best estimate of total on board is 313 with 138 killed.Bob80q (talk) 03:23, 30 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
