Rite. This is part of my assignment so am still learning how to use wikipedia. Was surprised at the ammendment of my titles as my topic is on Revolution of the Farmers. Its a topic in the making. Any advice appreciated

One thing to keep in mind that Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and many interested editors may work together on any given topic. You've made a good start with this article, though I'm sure others will be able to help improve it with regard to Wikipedia's guidelines.

Sorry for the confusion caused by my renaming of the article. The deletion discussion has been closed, and while it was determined that the article likely has its merits, a rename may be needed so that the title accurately and precisely reflects its contents according to the Wikipedia:Article titles policy. The obvious thing is that it should be mentioned in the article title that it is specific to Thailand. Also, this article seems to describe a trend in rural farmers' participation in politics from the 1970s onwards, rather than a single event. I don't think the term "revolution" is actually appropriate in this context. Since there doesn't seem to be a single term used by the academia to describe these trends, a descriptive title such as Involvement of farmers in the politics of Thailand or something similar should be more appropriate. The revolution of farmers → ? – As mentioned above and in the AfD, this article needs to be renamed. I reverted a move to "1973 Thai farmer uprising" by User:Uzma Gamal because I felt the move was premature, and because of the fact there was no such historical event. To quote myself from the above section: This article seems to describe a trend in rural farmers' participation in politics from the 1970s onwards, rather than a single event. I don't think the term "revolution" is actually appropriate in this context. Since there doesn't seem to be a single term used by the academia to describe these trends, a descriptive title such as Involvement of farmers in the politics of Thailand or something similar should be more appropriate. • Comment: Article was moved from The revolution of farmers to 1970s peasant revolts in Thailand two hours before this RM was raised. That seems a reasonable title to me, answering all the concerns raised above. See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The revolution of farmers. Red Gaurs

According to this source, the Red Gaurs movement was responsible for the assassination of farmer leaders. Should this information be incorporated in the article? (At the moment, the article does not make a statement on who killed the FFT members.) --RJFF (talk) 17:16, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
