  • Several times in the article, you say that Carol and Edna struck New England as major hurricanes; although both storms were major hurricanes, they did not make landfall at that intensity.
  • "During the season, there were eight named storms,[4] as well as an unnamed hurricane and a tropical depression." - What about the unnamed tropical storm?
    • That's mentioned. It formed after the season ended. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 03:27, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • "It bceame the costliest natural disaster in the state's history," - typo
  • "On Long Island, the storm surge flooded the Montauk Highway with 4 ft (1.2 m) about a mile across." - You should change that to "4 ft (1.2 m) of water"
  • "In response, U.S. Air Force planes flew food, medicine, rafts, and water purification tablets to the most affected regions" - That sentence is missing the period.
  • "160 km/h (100 mph)" and "1,100 km (680 mi)" should be switched back to the American unit first and metric unit second.
  • "On October 2, a troical depression moved westward" - typo
  • References #3 and 4 are duplicates.
  • Reference #15 is missing the date.
  • NOAA shouldn't be abbreviated in reference #23.
  • There is a minor incidence of first and last name inconsistency on the references, #29, #41, and #42 have the last name first, while the others are vice-versa.
  • Associated Press should not be abbreviated in reference #43.
  • References 44-49 don't have the correct title.
  • Possibly more later--12george1 (talk) 03:13, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • I hope I got all of the above! --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 03:27, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
      • Never mind, I got nothing else against this article (or troicals). Therefore, I am going to pass this article--12george1 (talk) 16:34, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
