No contemporary sources? edit

Are you saying that sources from 1952 would help establish that the crash meets notability guidelines? There was plenty of coverage, so this could be added. Or do you feel that the articles needs some other type of sources? There are no hard and fast criteria for notable aviation accidents. Military incidents generally have a higher bar, but I feel that 52 fatalities and the reappearance of the wreckage after 60 years are good indicators that this is sufficiently notable.
