Pihos
edit@Cbl62: I notice that Pete Pihos was a quarterback on the 1945 All-Big Ten Conference football team but according to these game lineups he never lined up at quarterback. Or, at least, was never designated as such. Any idea what's up with that? Lizard (talk) 03:34, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- I haven't checked the game lineups, but I double-checked the articles on the Big Ten selections. He was, indeed, selected as the first-team 'quarterback by both the AP and UP. That would be odd if he didn't play at the position. Cbl62 (talk) 03:59, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Even stranger, on the 1946 All-Big Ten Conference football team he's listed as the second-team quarterback behind his Indiana teammate, Ben Raimondi. I've been working on Pihos' page and I've only found mention of him throwing a single pass in his college career, much less being a triple-threat. Lizard (talk) 04:26, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
