Todo edit

It needs at least a one sentence description of every storm to be a start.--Nilfanion (talk) 22:36, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

And proper structuring. Storm05 16:33, 18 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
It also needs more details and improved grammar. I'm currently trying to fix some of the spelling and grammar errors and attempting to add more details to the individual storm accounts, as well as improve the flow of the writing. Anyone want to help? I've already added more details to Tropical Storm One, improved the organization of Hurricane Two, and am adding more details to Hurricane Ten and all the other storm accounts. The grammar and structure need to be improved. Also, Hurricane Ten peaked at 135 mph, not 130 mph. NOAA and Unisys show a peak of 115 knots (now 135 mph). I dropped it to start, primarily due to too little information for hurricanes two and ten. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:41, 12 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Maybe they should have separate articles then? CrazyC83 20:46, 12 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Probably. Hurricanehink (talk) 20:55, 12 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Additional Detail edit

I found this article looking for information about the hurricane that wrecked the James Aeneas E. Phelps house on Orozimbo Plantation, Brazoria County, TX. An interesting detail, but it may not be appropriate to include in the article. Whomever feels responsible for the article may add the information at their discretion. Doing:

Lede: No problems.

Seasonal summary: ACE is a measure of the power of a tropical storm multiplied by the length of time it existed. Incorrect formula. Perhaps change it to "ACE is a metric used to express the energy used by a tropical cyclone during its lifetime."

Systems:

  • For all UTC time, add a colon (:) separating the hours and minutes.
  • Freeport is overlinked.
  • Annapolis Valley is overlinked in Tropical Storm Six.
  • At least one death in Canada, while eight other people went missing along with their vessel.[21] One death occurred in Canada.
  • Hurricane San Ciprián of 1932 - This sounds weird (ex. Hurricane New York of 1932). Perhaps change it to The San Ciprián Hurricane of 1932.
  • Hurricane Fifteen: Azores is overlinked (linked previously in Hurricane Fourteen).

Season effects: References should go in the refs column.

Well-written article overall. Best of luck. Destroyer (Alternate account) 21:34, 20 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
