A decent article, overall. I do have some concerns, however, which are listed below:

  • The official start of the season is generally considered to be June 1 with the end being October 31 - A clarification is needed that the current end date is November 31.
  • The second and final storm of the season was first identified as a weak tropical storm just off the northern coast of Honduras on November 29. - You might want to add "official" to "final storm of the season".
  • Nearly every sentence in the first paragraph of the Hurricane Two section includes the phrase "the storm". Could this be reworded in some places to avoid repetition?
  • Citrus losses were also significant, with estimates exceeding $600,000. - Estimates of what?
  • The last incident, involving a yacht, was off the coast of Georgia. - "Was" → "occurred".
  • I'm surprised that there are only four references. The hurricane archive would surely yield some useful newspapers.

On-hold for now. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 03:04, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think I've gotten everything mentioned above and the hurricane archive did prove useful. Thanks for the review. Cyclonebiskit 11:32, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
