1921 NFL season → 1921 APFA season —
Should this and the 1921 NFL season be rename the 1920 APFA season and 1921 APFA season the name NFL was not used until 1922. we don't say the 1958 Indianpolis Colts season 204.169.161.1 (talk) 18:04, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose I am hesitant about moving the page at this time as per WP:COMMONNAME. You're comparing apples and oranges. Yes, we do not say "1958 Indianapolis Colts season" because you're talking about a sports team that relocated from one city to another after spending several decades in Baltimore. Therefore, there is a definite common distinction there. But when you're talking about one of the most popular leagues in the United States, only using its original name for only two seasons, I'm not sure there is enough of a definite distinction to say that "1921 APFA season" is more common than "1921 NFL season" – especially when there were no league mergers during that period just like when the Basketball Association of America merged with the National Basketball League to form the NBA.
