This article is in decent shape, but it needs more work before it becomes a Good Article.

1. Is it well written?

   A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:

   In the Participants section, is this ---> "enthousiastic" the correct spelling? In the Race details, this ---> "...trying to stop their favourite's opponents" reads very odd.

   Half-check.

   B. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation:

   In the lead, "4th" ---> "fourth", it seems better that way.

   Check.

2. Is it verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check?

   A. It contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline:

   References 9 and 15 are missing Publisher info.

   Check.

   B. Reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose):

I added the work-parameter to the reference templates. (If I am not mistaken, these website are the work and not the publisher.) And you are absolutely correct, "fourth" is better than "4th". --EdgeNavidad (Talk · Contribs) 20:21, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

I have one question about this sentence ---> "...trying to stop their favourite's opponents", if it can be answered, you'll have yourself a GA. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:28, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

I asked the Cycling project for some help on that sentence (English is not my first language, so sometimes I produce awkward writing), and I think they came up with an excellent solution, that is now in the article. --EdgeNavidad (Talk · Contribs) 06:46, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

I thought maybe it was an international thing at first, but the more I read it the more I knew did not make sense, so I had to bring it up.
