There is: Session The State Duma (and the State Council - the upper house) convened for the first time on April 27, 1906. On May 10, Sergey Muromtsev, a Law Professor at the Saint Petersburg University, was elected President of the Duma.

I think it's the same date: Thursday the 27th of April 1906 Julian date (OS) = Thursday the 10th of May 1906 Gregorian date (NS)

The election results appear to be entirely unsourced. I can't find where they got the results from. The Russian page of the article also displays different results. For example, the English article claims the Kadets won 179/478 seats, whilst the top of the Russian page claims they won 176, but scroll down to the results section and they won 161. Meanwhile, in 'Revolutionary Russia', Orlando Figes, claims (without reference) that the Kadets received 153/448 seats.

So that's 4 different results, all of which don't appear to have a direct source, so it seems impossible to tell where these figures came from or their veracity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emis98 (talk • contribs) 12:41, 8 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
