• Reorganize the lead better. First paragraph is one sentence, second paragraph is huge, then third paragraph is one sentence again.

• Per WP:EGG, improve the links to 1903 Tour de France, etc.; link "1903 Tour de France" or something to make it more clear that it's linking to the Tour de France article and not 1903.
