@GB fan: If you think that is enough content to understand what the article is about - how you comment on this article 12.7×55mm STs-130? Artem Ponomarenko (talk) 19:10, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I do not understand what you are asking. ~ GB fan 19:55, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • I asked you about your reason to decline speedy delete. Can you prove significance to create separate article? No sources, no recommended minimal size. Russian and ukrainian my native language. I tried to find any reliable sources but in finaly - nothing. Only bla-bla-bla information from blogs or something like that. I thought in english wiki uphold quality, notability and etc., but I see that I was wrong. Artem Ponomarenko (talk) 08:17, 30 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
I declined the speedy delete because the article does not meet any of the speedy deletion criterion. You tagged it as not having enough content to understand what it is about. There is enough content to understand that the article is about is about a firearm cartridge that is 12.7 mm in diameter and 55 mm long. It was designed in Russia and is used in both handguns and rifles. It was designed without using another case as a starting point, no parent case. Since I can tell what it is about the speedy deletion criterion does not apply.
I also looked at the one speedy deletion criterion that might apply after you pointed out 12.7×55mm STs-130, WP:A10. This doesn't apply either as it appears this is a different round. That one specifically says it has a parent case. If it is the same then it still shouldn't be deleted, it should be redirected to the other article.
There is no minimum size an article has to be to be accepted. For an article to survive it must be supported by reliable sources. This one currently doesn't have them but that is not a speedy deletion criterion. Lack of sources is something for articles for deletion and proposed deletion.
If no sources or more information is presented in the next few days, I will probably just redirect it to 12.7×55mm STs-130. ~ GB fan 10:12, 30 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
