Detection methods necessary because of potential hazards? edit

"Because of the potential hazards to humans NAA presents, methods are needed to detect it."

This strikes me as a fallacious, or at least weak, conclusion and does not appear to be supported here by a reference; the article reports that it is "considered only to be slightly toxic".

Presumably (IMO, a more justifiable conclusion), methods to detect it are necessary because "it is prohibited in many areas" -- thus the necessity to test crop imports/exports for residues.

Title cogency edit

Change from one word to two; Napthaleneacetic to Napthalene Acetic, so heading isn't oddly hyphe-nicated. 2603:6000:D700:194D:8925:5A88:3ACB:E64D (talk) 17:19, 12 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
