Isn't .sco being specifically proposed for the Scots language, rather than Scotland? Grinner 15:45, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

Mmmm... their mission statement is a bit ambiguous:

• "Because the Scots language and culture is a community that we believe should be identified with its own domain on the internet. Under a .SCO domain those organisations, companies and people that express themselves in the Scots language and/or wish to encourage Scots culture will be able to be registered and will be clearly identifiable."

The all-encompassing word "culture" would tend to imply just about anything associated with the nation of Scotland; after all, a nation is definied by its characteristic culture. But I must admit that I do find the repeated mentions of the Scots language, and absence of the other two languages (Scottish English and Scottish Gaelic language) a bit odd. Must be something to do with the methods used by .cat to win their campaign?--Mais oui! 16:37, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
