Sales edit

It says in the article that: "As of 2007, the album has sold 979,000 copies." Yet later in the paragraph, it says that: "It was certified platinum on September 23, 2004."

If it was certified platinum 2 1/2 years ago, shouldn't it have sold 1,000,000 copies already? 24.174.67.72 21:44, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, I'm not sure how many copies this album made since nearly twelve years after its release, but I'm guessing it may have sold about over 50 million or less as The Offspring's Smash or anything by Nirvana, Green Day, Social Distortion, who knows? Alex 23:17, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Your guess was so off it's astounding. 50 million? That would be more than Dookie and Smash combined. Tithonfury (talk) 17:35, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reception edit

I'm editing the reception slightly. It says that Erlewine said the music was "a veiled reference to the attention the band gained," but he was actually referring to the title. It's minor, but I feel it should be changed. Tithonfury (talk) 17:37, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dead external links to Allmusic website – January 2011 edit

Since Allmusic have changed the syntax of their URLs, 3 link(s) used in the article do not work anymore and can't be migrated automatically. Please use the search option on http://www.allmusic.com to find the new location of the linked Allmusic article(s) and fix the link(s) accordingly, prefereably by using the {{Allmusic}} template. If a new location cannot be found, the link(s) should be removed. This applies to the following external links:

Assessment comment edit

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:...And Out Come the Wolves/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Comment(s)Press [show] to view →
Start class:
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox
  •  Y A lead section giving an overview of the album
  •  Y A track listing
  •  Y Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  •  Y Categorisation at least by artist and year

C class:

  •  Y All the start class criteria
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  •  Y At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  •  Y A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  •  Y A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.

B class:

  •  Y All the C class criteria
  •  Y A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  •  Y A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  •  N No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  •  Y No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
Sections on Song information and charting have no citations at all. Other then that this is a decent article that's coming along. But it's not up to b-status yet for these reasons. Andrzejbanas (talk) 04:29, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
