Žganci are not a form of polenta. The flour used is completely different for the two dishes! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Slotrooper (talkcontribs) 15:34, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not really. Polenta is just a softer type of cornmeal žganci. Žarišče (talk) 19:43, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article is very poorly written

edit

The article is suppsed to be about žganci, a Croatian and Slovene dish, and yet it needlessly includes a lot of references to related Austrian dishes, and the image is wrong, since those are not žganci. Also, more about its importance in Croatia and Slovenia should be mentioned. The recipe is wrong, and nothing is commented on žgsnci in Croatia, and they are shadowed to create the impression that this is mainly a Slovenian dish (and Austrian, even though it is not wellknown in Austria outside the Croatian and Slovenian communities there). 213.190.26.10 (talk) 09:16, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Overlap between Polenta, Mămăligă, Kačamak, Žganci, Mush (cornmeal)
