Should this be Łódzkie? edit
I understand that there are issues related to characters and historical uses, but what is the point of maintaining a form of name that differs so much from the actual name for a place where the borders have changed so much? Is this not a good opportunity to actually reflect the place name? I live in Poland and there is no benefit to me if the name does not reflect the usage, because it is not just the province/voivodeship/wojewodsto name but any other name that uses the form, like castles, town halls, districts etc. If you are coming to Poland, doing business in this part of Poland or are just interested in it, then the actual name is far more significant.
