I don't think it is correct to say that the name Øyfjell is derived from the name Ødefjeld, which looks like an old written Danish form. It's more likely that Øyfjell is derived from an old Norse name, which I can guess could have been something like Eyðafjall. --213.236.196.39 (talk) 13:37, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
