"V" device gone?
This article says that the DOD got rid of the "V" for achievement medals. Is this true? – Illegitimate Barrister (talk • contribs), 08:42, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, that is correct. The "V" device is not authorized on the Army Achievement Medal or, I guess, the AF Achievement Medal and Navy Achievement Medal. 82redleg (talk) 20:56, 25 December 2017 (UTC)
- Okay. The article mentions a DOD release that confirms this, but I can't find said release. Also, I don't know if the USCG is affected, since they aren't part of the DOD. – Illegitimate Barrister (talk • contribs), 14:55, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
