Overview
editTRENDS Research & Advisory was founded in 2014 and is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.[1] It was founded by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali who also serves as the institute's CEO.[2][3]
TRENDS develops recommendations and provides insights to policymakers and other organizations based on its research.[4][5]
The institute's research is focused on multiple areas including international relations, social sciences and geopolitics.[6][7]
In February 2024, TRENDS signed an agreement with the UAE's Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence to conduct joint research in different areas.[8]
