Szałe [ˈʂawɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Opatówek, within Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It is approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Opatówek, 7 km (4 mi) southeast of Kalisz, and 114 km (71 mi) southeast of the regional capital, Poznań.
