Surya Tamang (born 30 September 2001) is a Nepalese cricketer[1] who plays as an left arm off-spin bowler. He has played in different leagues including NepalT20, EPL for different teams like Biratnagar Super Kings, Lalitpur Patriots, Armed Police Force, Kathmandu Golden Warriors & Rapti team in Gautam Buddha Cup 2020. He had also been a part of Under-19s and Nepal Police Club. Tamang was adjudged as emerging player of the tournament in the inaugural Nepal T20 League. Soon, he got the maiden call up for the National team for the home Tri-Series[2] against Namibia and Scotland under CWC League 2 in February 2023.

Currently he has been playing for Bagmati Province[3][4] in the Prime Minister One Day Cup.

In February 2024, he was named in Nepal's squad for their One Day International (ODI) series against the Canada and League 2 game against Netherlands and Namibia.[5]
