D. G. Venkatesh, is known as Sudheendra Venkatesh is an Indian public relations officer and media consultant for the past four decades. He predominantly works in Kannada Film Industry and has worked more than 1200 films as public relations officer in Indian cinema.[1][2]

Early life

Sudheendra Venkatesh was born to Sudha and Gururaj on 21 May 1968 in Bangalore. He studied in Ashoka Shishuvihara and completed his high school from Bangalore High School. Sudheendra Venkatesh spent all his childhood and completed his studies in Chamarajpete, Bangalore. He finished his high school studies and then started assisting his uncle Sudheendra as a trainee. When Sudheendra Venkatesh father passed away, he was offered a job in Amco Batteries which he declined and continued his profession as a Public Relation Ofiicer.[3]

Career

Sudheendra Venkatesh started his career as an assistant in 1985 with Raghavendra Chitravani for the promotion of the films which was founded by his uncle D. V. Sudhindra in 1977. He worked as Sudhindra's assistant till 2006. After the demise of his uncle, he took over complete responsibility of Raghavendra Chitravani and became the full fledged Public Relations Officer.[4][5] He was a Promoter for the popular Kannada Film "Mungaru Male". Mungaru Male (2006) and Duniya (2007) films earned him huge recognition for his services and helped him settle as an independent film public relations officer. Venkatesh has been responsible for more than 1200 films as a publicist and public relations officer.[1] These movies include some of the most popular Kannada films like Duniya, KGF: Chapter One and KGF: Chapter 2, Aishwarya, Kantara, 777 Charlie, Raajakumara, Aptamitra etc.[6] He is the publicist and public relations officer for all the films of famous film production companies of kannada industry such as Hombale Films, Rockline Productions, Jayanna Combines, Shailendra Productions, Ramoji Films, Upendra Productions, Kiccha Creations, Thoogudeepa Productions, Pushkar Films, SV Productions.[7][8][9]
