Stuart Ford is a British-born film and television producer based in Los Angeles. He is an executive member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences[1] and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
Professional career
editFord began his career in the early nineties as an entertainment industry lawyer at UK law firm Olswang. Before IM Global, Ford was an executive at Miramax Films in New York where he was involved in the acquisition and/or production of multiple films including Shakespeare in Love, Chicago, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, Gangs Of New York, and Amélie. In 2018, he founded AGC Studios.
Personal life
editFord was educated at the Liverpool Blue Coat School, and later obtained both a BA and an MA in Law from St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University.[citation needed] He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.[2]
