Steven Levy (politician)

Steven L. Levy is a former American state legislator who served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013.[1]

Political career edit

Levy was made chairman of the Marlborough, Massachusetts Republican City Committee in 2004.[2] On November 1, 2005, he was elected to the Marlborough City Council as an at-large member, receiving 2,805 votes.[3] Levy unsuccessfully ran against Jamie Eldridge for the Middlesex & Worcester state senate district seat in 2008.[2] In 2010, Levy challenged incumbent state representative Danielle Gregoire; narrowly defeating her in the general election with 50.3% of the overall vote.[4] Gregoire challenged Levy to a rematch in 2012, in which Levy was defeated by 214 votes.[5][6]

Personal life edit

Levy and his wife, Sharon, have two children. He is the owner of Ledger Plus Accounting and Finance in Marlborough, Massachusetts.[7]
