The Skaff (Skaf) Family
editSkaff is the name of a prominent Lebanese Greek Orthodox Christian and Lebanese Greek Catholic Christian family, based in the city of Zahlé, Lebanon. The family has had a seat in the parliament of Lebanon since the first parliament formed, with Elias Tohme Skaff, representing the Greek Catholics. It is one of the political families of Lebanon. The family’s ability to keep political power has been tied to the land they own, allegedly being over 20% of the land of Lebanon.
Immigrants of the Skaff family may choose to go by the name Skaf.
