Shri Kamlesh Nilkanth Vyas was a former Director of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. His tenure was from 23rd February 2016 to 12th March 2019. His predecessor was Dr. Sekhar Basu and was succeeded by Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty.
Shri K.N.Vyas born on May 3rd, 1957. He has completed B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from 'Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda'. Later on he joined in the 22nd batch of BARC Training School in the year 1979. After successful completion of 1 year rigorous training, he absorbed in Fuel Design and Development Section of Reactor Engineering Division of BARC. His work interests are designing and analysis of nuclear reactor fuels. He was credited with the design and development of a novel fuel for strategic applications.[1]
