Rocchetta Tanaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Turin and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) southeast of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,454 and an area of 16.0 square kilometres (6.2 sq mi).[3]
