Roberta Fiorentini (22 November 1948 – 23 October 2019) was an Italian actress.

Biography

Actress and theater director, she was daughter of art, born to Fiorenzo Fiorentini and Lia Alimena. She was the founder and teacher for twelve years of the Fiorenzo Fiorentini School of Popular Theater at the Petrolini Theater in Testaccio, Rome. In addition to a career of more than thirty years in the theater, he has played various characters in dozens of films and television series. The character that brought her fame is that of Itala, the editorial secretary in the television series Boris, directed by Luca Vendruscolo, Mattia Torre and Giacomo Ciarrapico.[1]

She has participated in various films: The Family Friend by Paolo Sorrentino (where she plays the dramatic role of Rosalba's mother), Me, Myself and Her by Maria Sole Tognazzi (where she plays Sabrina Ferilli's mother), A Fairy-Tale Wedding by Carlo Vanzina, Henry by Alessandro Piva, and SMS - Sotto Mentite Spoglie by Vincenzo Salemme (where she plays Enrico Brignano's mother for the second time). Her latest role was in the film Natale a cinque stelle, written by Carlo and Enrico Vanzina, where for the second time she played the role of the mother of the character played by Ricky Memphis.

After a long illness, she died in the Porta Portese neighborhood, where she had lived for some time, in Rome on 23 October 2019. The funeral was celebrated after two days at the Artists' Church in Piazza del Popolo in Rome. She was buried in the Flaminio cemetery.[2][3]
