Washington Ritter "Rit" Harrison (September 18, 1849 - November 7, 1888) was an American Professional baseball catcher and shortstop who played one game for the 1875 New Haven Elm Citys. In his one game Harrison went 2 for 4 with one double and rbi. [1]After his Professional Baseball career he worked as a brass turner.[2] Harrison was born in Haverstraw New york and died in Bridgeport Connecticut. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Waterbury Connecticut.
