Reworked fiction

A reworked fiction is a work of fiction that is re-published with significant changes.

Examples

• Mary Shelley began writing her novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus in 1816, completed it in 1817, and published it on 1 January 1818. On 31 October 1831 she published a version that was heavily revised, partly to make the story less radical.
