Rama Prosad Banerjee

Rama Prosad Banerjee is an Indian academic and author. He serves as the Chairman and Director of the Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM), Kolkata.

Life and career

Prosad obtained his MBA and Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta and pursued post-doctoral research at Stockholm University.[1]

Banerjee has taught at some leading Indian institutions of higher learning, including the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, University of Calcutta, Bangalore University, Burdwan University, Utkal University and many other Institutions in India. He has also visited and lectured Pennsylvania State University, Texas University-Austin, Texas Women's University, Texas University-Dallas, Tarleton State University, University of Tennessee, University of Kansas, Arlington State University, University of Hamburg in Germany, Stockholm University in Sweden, North Western University-Switzerland, and some leading universities in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. He has also delivered talk at the global meet of American Accounting Association in Denver, Colorado, and delivered key note on a topic at Pennsylvania State University and addressed and guided, through sessions, senior executives and members on the board at ABUS, Germany. He has also conducted large number of national and international corporate programmes apart from the lectures in the academic context. He is currently the Chairman and Director of EIILM-Kolkata, where he also heads the Finance and Ethics Departments.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

He is known for integrating Vedic spiritual principles into management education. His work emphasizes ethics, integrity, sincerity, and cooperation in management. Banerjee has contributed to over 200 articles and research papers in peer-reviewed journals.[1][10][11]

Banerjee also leads the Asian Integration Initiative Series of Borderless Asia, a project which focuses on collaboration among Asian economies to strengthen their global influence in trade, industry, and commerce. The project emphasizes the importance of unity among Asian countries, and uses ancient Vedic principles, to create a cohesive and powerful economic presence on the global stage.[12]
