Qezel Alan Rural District

Qezel Alan Rural District (Persian: دهستان قزل‌آلان) is in Goldasht District of Gomishan County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Arkh-e Bozorg.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Gomishan District was separated from Torkaman County in the establishment of Gomishan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Gomishan as its capital.[3]

At the census of 2011, its population was 9,348 in 2,144 households.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 10,211 in 2,837 households. The most populous of its eight villages was Qaranjik-e Khvajeh Khan, with 3,414 people.[2]
