This article was nominated for speedy deletion and certainly needs a cleanup. It is linked from Neighborhoods and projects in Detroit, Michigan. It has been proposed for deletion. I would be grateful for any advice as to whether this is generally considered to be a neighborhood in Detroit. Capitalistroadster 03:36, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to pitch in and help out wherever you can! Compared with the project page, the portal page is almost pitiful! What happened? NDCompuGeek 03:18, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Left to do

edit
  • 15–20 DYK entries — 8 done so far
  • 20 Selected pictures —  Done
  • 20 Selected biographies —  Done
  • 20 selected articles
  • Sort news out with Wikinews Bot
  • Quality content
  • Quotes
  • 10 (or more) panoramas

To tick off as I get these done, then its off to FPOC for this portal. Qst (talk) 18:50, 27 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I found a great DYK hook to use, but it looks like the DYK section is gone? For those interested it is:
  • ...that Moose Boulder in the Moose Flats on Ryan Island in Siskiwit Lake on Isle Royale is the the largest island in the largest lake on the largest island in the largest lake on the largest island in the largest freshwater lake in the world?
If anyone is looking for additional content, the Michigan State Highways WikIProject has 5 featured articles, 5 more A-Class articles and a couple dozen DYK hooks at WP:MSHP/F. We're slowly closing in on having the rest of the articles at B- or GA-Class. (The lowest assessment if C-Class in the 200+ articles.) Imzadi 1979  06:18, 6 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Notice from the Portals WikiProject

edit

WikiProject Portals is back!

The project was rebooted and completely overhauled on April 17th, 2018. Its goals are to revitalize the entire portal system, make building and maintaining portals easier, support the ongoing improvement of portals and the editors dedicated to this, and design the portals of the future.

As of May 2nd, 2018, membership is at 60 editors, and growing. You are welcome to join us.

There are design initiatives for revitalizing the portals system as a whole, and for improving each component of portals. So far, 2 new dynamic components have been developed: Template:Transclude lead excerpt and Template:Transclude random excerpt.

Tools are provided for building and maintaining portals, including automated portals that update themselves in various ways.

And, if you are bored and would like something to occupy your mind, we have a wonderful task list.

From your friendly neighborhood Portals WikiProject. Hope to see you there. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   07:37, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
