Question

First of all lemme make it clear that I'm not asking you to do my homework.

Havoc wreaking

After a rather long round of vandalism and reverting, somehow the Foundations section in the Topics in Mathematics box at the bottom has disappeared. This has shifted the boxes over and now there is a big empty hole under Discrete Mathematics. I'm too lazy to, so please fix this. Leon math (talk) 03:53, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Well i don't necessarily would agree on all the links above, but i think it is a good idea if the portal offers a (sub)page containing a link collection with most important/useful online resources that can be used for writing or verifying articles. The portal is intended to be primarily reader-facing. For editors there's the wikiproject, which has the subpage Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics/Reference resources. Algebraist 10:35, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Picture of the month, November 2009

I've been bold and created a page for a featured picture for this month, since no one else had done that yet (so there was just a redlink on the page in its place). I don't know where these things are discussed/decided, if anywhere... - dcljr (talk) 08:05, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

I've done the same for December, but not being as bold I've just re-used November's to fix the red link. It seems not to show up unless I edit and preview the Portal, but I don't know if that's just me with the old version in my cache. JohnBlackburne (talk) 23:06, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

And the new year rolls round and there's another red link. Not wanting to recycle November's image I did the bold thing and found another I thought impressive and distinctive. Unfortunately the text is pretty obscure, but there's lots of links to other pages for the interested reader.
